Recognizing excellence in research, innovation, and teaching in Mathematics, Computational Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, and allied disciplines.
Eligibility
| Open to Professors, Associate Professors, and equivalent academicians or scientists in Mathematics, Computational Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, and allied disciplines. |
| Minimum of 10 years of teaching or research experience in recognized academic or research institutions. |
| Candidates must be 40 years of age or above at the time of nomination. |
| Applicants must hold Lifetime Membership of SMCR. |
Evaluation Parameters
| 1. Teaching and Research Experience β Duration and quality of service in higher education and research institutions. |
| 2. Research Publications β Number and quality of publications in SCI/SCOPUS indexed journals, emphasizing Q1/Q2 journals, impact factor, and citations. |
| 3. Innovation and Patents β Number of patents filed, granted, or technologies developed demonstrating innovation. |
| 4. Research Projects β Major or minor projects completed or ongoing as Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-PI, supported by recognized funding agencies. |
| 5. Research Supervision β Number of Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral researchers successfully supervised. |
| 6. Professional Involvement β Contributions to scientific committees, academic administration, editorial boards, and professional organizations. |
| 7. Recognition and Impact β Awards, honors, invited lectures, fellowships, and societal contributions that reflect leadership in Mathematical and Computational Sciences. |

General Guidelines
| β’ Open exclusively to Life Members of SMCR. |
| β’ There is no application fee for applying for the awards. The awards will be given purely based on the evaluation parameters as decided by the Selection Committee. |
| β’ Awardees receive a Recognition Certificate and are featured in the SMCR Annual Report and Website. |
Application Procedure
| 1. Eligible candidates must first obtain Lifetime Membership of SMCR. |
| 2. Complete the online Google Form with all required details. |
| 3. Upload supporting documents including CV, publication list, patents, project details, and recognitions. |
| 4. Incomplete or incorrect submissions may not be considered for evaluation. |
Terms & Conditions
| β’ Awards are open only to Life Members of SMCR. |
| β’ Each candidate may apply for only one award per year. |
| β’ Applications must be submitted before the specified deadline. |
| β’ No queries or correspondence regarding the selection process will be entertained. |
| β’ Incomplete or improperly filled applications will not be accepted. |
| β’ If eligibility criteria are not fully met, the candidate may be considered for a more appropriate award category, subject to consent. |
| β’ Any false or misleading information will lead to disqualification and revocation of awards. |
| β’ The decision of SMCR shall be final and binding. The Society reserves the right to present or withhold awards without providing reasons, and no legal claims shall be entertained. |
