π» SMCR Lifetime Achievement Award
The SMCR Lifetime Achievement Award honors distinguished academicians and researchers who have made outstanding and sustained contributions to the advancement of Mathematics, Computational Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, and allied disciplines through research, innovation, and leadership.
Eligibility
| Open to academicians and researchers in Mathematics, Computational Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, and allied disciplines. |
| Minimum 20 years of distinguished professional experience in teaching, research, or scientific innovation. |
| Recognized national and/or international reputation in education, research, or professional practice. |
| Applicant must be a Life Member of SMCR. |
Evaluation Parameters
| 1. Teaching Experience β Only permanent, full-time experience will be considered. |
| 2. Research Publications β Number and quality of publications in SCI/SCOPUS indexed journals, with emphasis on Q1 and Q2 rankings, impact factor, and citation index. |
| 3. Patents & Innovations β Number of patents filed, granted, or commercialized reflecting innovation and applied research. |
| 4. Research Projects β Major and minor projects as PI or Co-PI funded by national or international agencies. |
| 5. Research Supervision β Number of Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral candidates successfully guided. |
| 6. Academic & Professional Leadership β Roles in academic administration, editorial boards, or scientific committees. |
| 7. Overall Impact & Recognition β Awards, fellowships, invited talks, and contributions demonstrating leadership and excellence. |

| β’ Priority consideration for invited talks, editorial roles, and scientific committees of the Society. |
General Guidelines
| β’ Open exclusively to Life Members of SMCR. |
| β’ There is no application fee for applying for the awards. The awards will be given purely based on the evaluation parameters as decided by the Selection Committee. |
| β’ Awardees will receive a Recognition Certificate and be featured in the SMCR Annual Report. |
Application Procedure
| 1. Eligible candidates must first obtain Lifetime Membership of SMCR. |
| 2. Fill out the online Google Form for award application. |
| 3. Upload supporting documents (CV, publications, patents, recognitions, etc.). |
| 4. Incomplete submissions may lead to disqualification. |
Terms & Conditions
| β’ Awards are open only to Life Members of SMCR. |
| β’ Each candidate may apply for only one award category per year. |
| β’ Late applications will not be accepted. |
| β’ No correspondence regarding the selection process will be entertained. |
| β’ False information will result in disqualification. |
| β’ SMCRβs decision is final and binding. |
