About the Society for Mathematical and Computational Research
The Society for Mathematical and Computational Research (SMCR) is a premier academic and scientific organization dedicated to advancing Mathematics, Computational Science, and interdisciplinary research across diverse domains. Established in 2025, the Society was founded with a vision to create a global platform that promotes research, innovation, and collaboration in areas such as Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, Computational Modelling, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Scientific Computing, and Mathematical Biology.
The primary objective of the Society is to encourage and promote education, research, and technological advancement in Mathematical and Computational Sciences for the benefit of academia, industry, and society. SMCR aims to inspire researchers, academicians, and students to explore new frontiers in mathematical theory, numerical methods, computational tools, modelling of complex systems, and emerging interdisciplinary applications.
The Society regularly organizes national and international conferences, seminars, symposiums, workshops, training programs, and faculty development programs (FDPs) to foster academic interaction and knowledge exchange. It also publishes peer-reviewed journals, newsletters, conference proceedings, monographs, and special issues to disseminate high-quality research and support global scholarly communication.
SMCR recognizes excellence in research, teaching, and innovation through a range of awards, fellowships, and honours designed to motivate outstanding contributions in Mathematical and Computational Sciences. The Society is committed to upholding academic integrity, rigorous research standards, and ethical scientific practices while promoting active partnerships with universities, research institutions, industries, and international organizations.
With its dynamic network of mathematicians, computational scientists, engineers, and researchers, the Society for Mathematical and Computational Research continues to serve as a catalyst for scientific discovery, technological development, and research-driven innovation, contributing significantly to the global progress of mathematics and computation.
