These prestigious awards recognize outstanding achievements in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Science, Scientific Computing, Data Science, and interdisciplinary research—honoring excellence in research, teaching, innovation, and scientific leadership.
Award Categories
- SMCR Lifetime Achievement Award
- SMCR Distinguished Scientist Award
- SMCR Young Scientist Award
- SMCR Women in Science Excellence Award
- SMCR Aspiring Researcher Award
Each award celebrates innovation, impact, and excellence within the scientific community. Awardees will receive a Certificate of Excellence, Commemorative Memento, and a feature in the SMCR Annual Report & Website.

- Last Date to Apply: 01 December 2026
- Result Announcement: 30 December 2026
🎓 Awards will be conferred during the SMCR Annual Conference.
💡 Eligibility: Open to Life Members of SMCR only.
📩 There is no application fee for applying for the awards. The awards will be given purely based on the evaluation parameters as decided by the Selection Committee.
